PEN Plus M&E Tool Revision Workshop
On January 16 and 17, 2025, the Mathiwos Wondu-YeEthiopia Cancer Society (MWECS) team conducted a Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) tools revision workshop as part of Phase II of the PEN-Plus initiative with representatives from the NCDI Poverty Network, project officers from Addis Zemen and Muketuri Primary Hospitals, and physicians from PEN-Plus clinics. This workshop was a vital step in the national scale-up of the PEN-Plus initiative.
Since the launch of the PEN-Plus project, 567 patients have been enrolled. The first phase has shown significant positive outcomes, including reduced mortality rates, fewer hospitalizations, and improved clinical results in the two regions. MWECS would like to express its gratitude to all workshop participants for their invaluable input.
