Mathiwos Wondu – YeEthiopia Cancer Society organized farewell program for summer volunteer students

Our society, who won the Begosu award last year – thanked the student volunteers of 2016 and their parents for all their support and cooperation.Mr.Wondu Bekele,one of the founding members and Chief Executive Director of MWECS appreciated them all for devoting their vacation time to a good cause by raising funds through different activities,familiarizing our through social media platforms.The volunteers used various means and ways for raising funds,taking care of cancer patients at the center, and promoting the society. Apart from their contribution to the society, they conveyed a message to the students about healthy living.
Mr.Wondu had very productive discussions on how to strengthen the efforts being made and encourage volunteers to give their true and frank feedback and comment on their stay,working with us,how to continue the program all year round without affecting their study.After the discussion working groups formed with specific assignments.Finally urged the students who gathered from different schools to support the center in whatever ways they could including collective second hand clothes and food and collect money as volunteers for the society and cancer patients in their free time.
